I'm so happy to return home to Bel & the kids. We had a great time eating Saimin then home. Of course it was raining in Wahiawa ;) But, as we were heading into town this beautiful rainbow greeted us. I wish I could capture the intensity of the color. It was one of the most beautiful array of colors I have seen. Ahhh... So happy to be back home in paradise with my family. I hope soon my kids, and all my mainland friends & family can share this with Bel & I
It's ready! Our photos are here! We had so much fun at 'Bella' beach. I love this pic because Chris was making me laugh. I was stressing out that day and trying to capture 'us' but here it is. It looks natural and easy. I can't wait to put it all in the album.
Thanks David for putting up with my hair and making me "Jan-fied"... Bouncy and flippy... It was special day because Izzy turned three the same day these pictures were taken. He was waiting at home with the rest of the family. We had an awesome day and night. I can't wait for our wedding!

I thought I better get my butt moving on looking for a dress. Jan and I went to Bridal Boutique http://www.bridalboutiquehonolulu.com/ just to start. I tried pretty much everything they had. Jan and I had a blast taking pictures of each other. I wanted something light and whimsical but also classic. I tried the princess poofy dress to the skin tight one....oh boy! Talk about sucking it up! I'm so glad I started to work out with the personal trainer. I'm shooting to lose 15 pounds so I want to aim high for a form fitting dress but I also like the princess cut. Today sis and I will go on the search for that perfect dress.
I'm motivated to find it....
I went to my first make up consultation with CJ @ "Naturally You" during my lunch. I told everyone at work that I was coming back a new woman, meaning I was going to be all made up. Boy I was wrong! Haha Mona and I were there to meet her and "talk" about my ideal "look". I was really hoping I could get a sneak peak. Instead I made another appointment for a "trail session". Oh shish ok this is going to be a long process. 9 months to go huh? I'll be booking more consulations for this just to get the right one.
Good thing Chris and I agree on Kai Media (www.kaimedia.com) to do the engagement video shoot. It's pretty neat because they make it to look like a music video. The only dilema is what song(s) to use. So much money for a 5 minute video. But I think its so worth it. I'm still pondering to do a trash a dress session. Chris says do it.
I'm anxious to start looking for a dress... Vera Wang? sorry they aren't here GRRR... I'll make a point to make an appt while I'm in Seattle next month. I'm so over teal! Looking at pink or yellow for the brides maid dresses. That's it, I've made up my mind that I'm looking this weekend. Chris is not allowed to see me before the wedding nor my wedding dress so I'm looking forward to making his jaw drop. :)
Whatever the details, I'm just so happy to spend it with Chris, kids, family and friends.
Bel had a sucessful meeting with Naturally You today. Lots of good idea exchanged and she will have a follow up make up session later on next week. How exciting that this part of the wedding plan is moving forward.
We will be meeting with Kai Media soon for our videographer, which will include engagement and wedding videos. We are very excited.
